Matt Dinan is originally from Miramichi, New Brunswick, and graduated from St. Â鶹´«Ã½ in 2006. He received his Ph.D. in Political Science from Baylor University in 2012. Before returning to St. Â鶹´«Ã½ in 2014, he was a teaching postdoc and Visiting Assistant Professor of Political Science at College of the Holy Cross in Worcester, MA. He does research in classical, Christian, and contemporary political philosophy, and is a contributor to The Hedgehog Review.

Dr. Dinan and his wife Dr. Vivien Zelazny live in Fredericton with their four daughters, Joanna, Julia, Ruth, and Rachel.
